Tracing New York's city names
New York's cities include New York City, the most populous city in the entire United States, and Albany, the state capital along the Hudson River. Each city name here gets its own tracing worksheet.
New York City is genuinely famous enough that a child may already recognize its name from other contexts, giving this state's tracing practice a real head start on familiarity.
Using this worksheet effectively
Pointing out that Albany, not New York City, is the actual state capital is a genuinely common and useful correction to share while tracing. Every worksheet here downloads as a free, print-ready PDF with no account required.
