Least Fry Word Tracing Worksheet

"Least" is a word most adults stopped consciously noticing decades ago, precisely because it's so common — that same invisibility to a fluent reader is what makes it worth deliberate practice for a beginner.

"Least" is worth practicing by itself specifically because many of the Fry Instant Words don't follow regular spelling rules — sounding them out doesn't always work well, so repetition and recognition matter more here than for a word a child could work out phonetically.

Because "least" belongs to Fry's ranked list rather than a themed vocabulary set, it won't obviously connect to a specific topic like animals or colors — its value is purely how often it shows up, not what it means.
