Stella's missing-letter worksheet works well after a child can already trace and copy the name confidently — it shifts the task from motor copying to genuine spelling recall.
Unlike a tracing worksheet, Stella's missing-letter version tests whether a child can recall the whole name well enough to fill in whichever letter is left out — a useful check after tracing practice has already built the motor pattern.
