Building a USA name, one letter at a time
Naming trends in the USA shift quickly and blend generations of immigration, so a single classroom can easily contain names with roots in half a dozen different countries. A Name Pyramid worksheet takes one of those names and builds it up row by row — one letter, then two, then three — so a child sees the name grow letter by letter rather than tracing it whole every time.
This is a different exercise from plain name tracing: building a pyramid asks a child to hold the earlier letters in mind while adding the next one, which is a genuine step up from copying a fixed word.
Using this with a USA name
